Stories From is a home for the moments that shape us.

Each Stories From book brings together authentic stories from people who share a common experience—a classroom, a hospital, a family, a profession, or a season of life. Together, those individual voices create something much bigger than any one story alone.

Imagine opening Stories From Parenting. One page makes you laugh out loud. The next brings tears to your eyes. Another has you thinking, "That happened to us too." Suddenly, you're reminded that the challenges, joys, fears, and victories of parenting are shared by millions of others.

Stories connect us to ourselves, to one another, and to people we'll never meet.

Stories live in classrooms, break rooms, kitchen tables, long car rides, text messages, and family gatherings. They make us laugh years later, help us through difficult seasons, and remind us, we're not alone.

That's why Stories From exists, to preserve these moments before they're forgotten and share them with the people who need them most.

Our Story:
Stories From was created by a husband and wife team who have lived many of the chapters they hope to preserve.

For more than two decades, Denny has walked into a classroom almost every day. Those years have brought moments of laughter so hard it brought tears, heartbreak while watching students struggle, and overwhelming pride as young people discovered who they could become. Those experiences planted the first seeds of Stories From.

Abby spent more than a decade raising five daughters, experiencing the ordinary moments of motherhood that became unforgettable memories. Later, after leading an international nonprofit and working as a birth doula, she decided to pursue a career in nursing. Today, Abby works as an RN in the emergency department where every shift reminds her that some of life's most powerful stories unfold in moments of crisis, compassion, heartbreak, resilience, humor, and hope.

Denny and Abby have been married for more than 20 years and are parents to five daughters; three via adoption, all with a unique story. Their family story is layered, complex, joyful, and still being written...just like the stories that matter most.

Along the way, they discovered something simple but life-changing: there is power in sharing stories. In sharing their own experiences and listening to others, they found deep connection, healing, meaning, and hope.

That is their hope for every Stories From book, that somewhere within its pages, you'll laugh, cry, learn, remember, heal, and always remember you’re not alone.
