We’re collecting short, true stories that don’t fit neatly into one of our first books yet, but absolutely belong in the Stories From world. Tell us about the pets who became family, the weddings that went beautifully sideways, the military moments that changed you, the adoption stories that still make your throat catch, the hunting or fishing trips nobody lets you forget, and any funny, tender, strange, brave, or deeply human memory that could one day become a book of its own.

We look for stories with heart, humor, honesty, and a strong fit for each community collection.
Collections are published
Your story could be selected for publication and preserved in one of our community collection books to be read by others for generations to come.

What contributors receive
Everyone who submits a story will receive 10% off a future Stories From book order.
If your story is selected for publication, you'll receive one free Author Edition copy of the book featuring your story!
Submitting a story does not guarantee publication.
Selected stories may be edited for length, clarity, privacy, tone, and fit.
Privacy first
Please avoid using full names or identifying details about patients, families, coworkers, or private situations unless you have permission. Changed names and general descriptions are completely fine. We want real stories told with care.
Books that give back
10% of profits from any future Other Stories collection will be donated to a nonprofit connected to the heart of the stories in that book. That might include causes supporting veterans, animal rescue, families, outdoor communities, local service organizations, or another mission that fits the stories selected.
